Greetings! This website is sponsored by the North American Division (NAD) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It is designed expressly for Seventh-day Adventist church organizations within our NAD territory including local congregations.
Follow closely the steps below. It is important to get a clear understanding of the building process before beginning! First impressions count, so you do want to get off to a good start.
1. Determine who is the primary leader for this strategy. That person is usually the top leader of the organization (example: the pastor of church, the president of the local conference or union conference, etc.). Associated with that top leader could be one or two support persons to do the detail work needed fort smooth implementation.
2. Alert the Office of Strategic Planning and Assessment of your desire to begin the strategy building process. We can clarify the process, answer questions, and advise as to helpful people, webinars, and material resources. We can also inform you of the latest web updates as our web site continues to grow and mature.
3. We will walk you through LEADING STRATEGY—A Step By Step Approach that spells out the appropriate sequence for both constructing and implementing your strategic plan. The proper sequence is crucial to success and requires careful thought before beginning.
This entire process must be bathed in prayer. Having the presence and approval of God’s Spirit is the most important resource of all.
We may be contacted at (301) 680-6407 or (240) 205-2065 OR you may e-mail Assistant Director Meredith Carter at Meredith.Carter@nad.adventist.org. Our greatest desire is to see your organization succeed in becoming a best-run, mission-driven organization of excellence to the glory of God.
